This release brings organization-wide knowledge management, a simpler way to work with your AI assistant, and deeper integrations with the tools your team already uses.
Organization Library
You can now manage knowledge documents at the organization level, separate from any single project. The new Org Library is a shared space where your team can upload files, import from Google Drive, OneDrive, or SharePoint, and pull documents from existing projects into a central collection.
Documents in the Org Library are searchable and filterable by category, processing status, and author. You can organize them with categories and bulk-manage as your library grows. Any knowledge stored here is available across your entire organization.
To get started, select **Org Library** from the sidebar.
Unified Chat Experience
Explore and Generate are now a single destination: Chat. Instead of switching between two separate areas, you start every conversation in one place and choose your mode with a toggle in the composer.
Pick Explore when you want to ask questions and search your project's knowledge base. Pick Generate when you want to create deliverables, plans, or other structured output. Existing bookmarks and links to the old Explore and Generate pages will redirect automatically.
SharePoint Integration (Beta)
Ferris now connects to Microsoft SharePoint at the organization level. Once connected, you can browse your SharePoint sites, select specific files for import, and enable automatic sync on a per-site basis.
Auto-sync keeps your Org Library current as new files are added to SharePoint. You can also run a one-time backfill to import all existing documents from a site, and filter which drives or folders are included. Documents already imported remain in Ferris even if you later turn sync off.
Connect SharePoint from Settings > Integrations.
Organization Roles and Permissions
Team management now includes structured permission levels. When inviting someone to your organization or updating their access, you assign a permission level: Viewer, Member, Admin, or Owner. Each level defines what they can see and change across the organization.
You can also assign an optional role label that describes their function on the team, like a job title or persona. This helps everyone understand who does what without affecting their actual access.
Inbox and Project Dashboard (Preview)
We are rebuilding the project inbox and activity dashboard from the ground up. You will see these marked as Coming Soon in the sidebar. Behind the scenes, tasks are now integrated with your project context, laying the groundwork for a task board, assignment tracking, and recommended actions tied directly to your project's knowledge.
